Public Clarification Notice

Following investigations by the Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore (CCS), AOX Pte. Ltd. wishes to clarify that certain sales materials previously used in AOX’s physical sales kits included CCS’s logo and a statement indicating that AOX’s laboratory findings had been verified by CCS.

AOX acknowledges that CCS did not verify any of AOX’s laboratory findings. AOX admits that the statement is untrue and constitutes an unfair practice under Section 4 of the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act because it might have reasonably misled consumers to believe that CCS had formally endorsed or validated those findings when CCS in fact, did not.

The statement has since been removed, and the affected sales materials have been destroyed. AOX has also implemented additional internal compliance measures to ensure that its marketing materials comply with applicable regulatory requirements.
