Gold Sponsor Introduction
Sharing AOX’s research journey at CONNEX-C ASIA 2026
As Gold Sponsor, AOX was invited to provide a short company and product introduction during the conference.
AOX CEO John Tan shared the thinking behind AOX’s collagen-renewing water systems, the company’s research journey and its belief that water quality deserves a meaningful place in wider conversations about healthy ageing.
Presenting AOX’s story within a scientific setting reflected the values that have guided the company since its founding.
Hydration
Considering how much water we consume over a lifetime, its quality deserves greater attention.
Hydration is one of the foundations of health. Yet because drinking water is such an ordinary part of everyday life, many of us rarely stop to consider the water we consume.
At AOX, this led us to explore whether water could do more than simply meet our basic hydration needs.
Our Question
Can water do more than simply meet our basic hydration needs?
Our Approach
Proprietary filtration supported by structured laboratory research.
In-Vitro Research
Blinded In-Vitro Testing Using Human Cell Models
AOX water was assessed through blinded in-vitro laboratory testing using human cell models. Under the specific study conditions, two key findings relating to cellular activity were observed.
+72%
Collagen-Producing Cell Activity
The laboratory study examined the response of cells involved in collagen production when exposed to AOX water.
+61%
Cellular Wound-Healing Activity
A separate assessment examined cellular wound-healing activity under controlled in-vitro conditions.
These findings were observed under specific laboratory conditions and do not establish equivalent outcomes in humans. They reflect AOX’s commitment to investigating its water through structured scientific research.
In-Vivo Research
Preclinical In-Vivo Research
Following the in-vitro research, AOX conducted a preclinical in-vivo study involving two groups of mice placed on a high-fat diet over eight weeks. One group consumed AOX water, while the comparison group consumed tap water.
35.5%
Lower Average Final Body Weight
At the end of the eight-week study, the mice drinking AOX water recorded an average final body weight 35.5% lower than the group drinking tap water.
55%
Lower Liver Lipid Accumulation
Further analysis found 55% lower lipid accumulation in the livers of the mice drinking AOX water.
The study was conducted with the involvement of Associate Professor Andrew Tan and the relevant research team. These findings arose from a preclinical animal study and do not establish equivalent outcomes in humans.
