3-day Alkaline Water Detox Cleanse For A Better You!

A glass of Alkaline water already does wonders in detoxifying the body and balancing your Ph level in your body. But to feel the full effects of alkaline water, you have to go beyond simply drinking water! An effective way to give your body a restart is to go on our 3-day alkaline water detox juice cleanse!

Before starting on your detox..
Going on any detox regimen does not mean that you can binge on 2 buckets of crispy fried chicken on the night before your first detox day. It takes at least a week of strict dieting and disciplining yourself from consuming large quantities of:
● caffeine – coffee and tea
● alcohol – fermented beverages
● sugar – table sugar, low-fat yoghurt, sports drinks
● dairy – milk, creams, butter
● wheat and gluten – oats, cornmeal, barley
● grains – rice, popcorn, crackers, tortillas
● legumes – peas, beans, lentils, peanuts
● processed food – breakfast cereals, tinned vegetables, chips, sausages and hams
● meat – chicken, pork, turkey slices
● Within 24 to 48 hours before the cleanse plan, you should also only eat raw food – fruits and salads while increasing your alkaline water intake.

The 3-day detox juice grind
In the course of 3 days, you’ll enjoy absolutely no cooking and more cutting and shaking! Here’s what your every day will look like in three days:
Upon waking up: Squeeze a medium-sized lemon in warm alkaline water. This stimulates the liver to produce more bile for digestion. It also helps regulate bowel movement.

After an hour, prepare green juice. Toss in a blender:
1 1/2 cup alkaline water
2 large kale leaves
1/2 cucumber
1 small apple, cored
1/4 ginger, grated
Juice from squeezed 1/2 lemon
This refreshing drink may not sit right in everyone’s taste buds but it’s packed with healthy nutrients that boost your mornings!

After one and a half hours, gulp up some beetroot juice.
1 cup alkaline water
1 small red beetroot
1 medium carrot
1 celery stalk
1 knuckle ginger, peeled
Juice from squeezed 1/2 lemon
This is one of the healthiest juice recipes. It helps in preventing cardiovascular problems.

Around lunch time, grab a glass of Apple Ginger Juice
1/2 cup alkaline water
3 small apples
1 knuckle ginger, peeled
Juice from 1/2 lime or lemon
Apple ginger juice helps prevent absorption of dietary LDL cholesterol and ginger gives your body immunity!

Drown in a banana orange shake for that 3pm craving!
1/2 cup chilled alkaline water
1 medium banana, chopped and peeled
2 oranges, cut in halves
This is one of the easiest to prepare. It’s very satisfying and quenching!

Go back green in the evening. Prepare your green juice the way you did in the morning.

You might observe yourself urinating more often. That’s normal on a detox diet. Also, when you get thirsty throughout the day, drink a glass of alkaline water. You can toss in some cucumbers, grapefruits, and mint leaves on your water bottle to help flush out those toxins from your digestive tract!

After this 3-day alkaline water detox plan, don’t satisfy your cravings just yet! Slowly transit back to eating light solid food. Whole grain oats, muesli, and fish are great starters. And don’t forget your daily dose of vegetables, fruits, and alkaline water.
